The quickest way to start The Hollow is to join the verified Roblox Presents experience, learn where the hub sends you, and finish one complete objective-and-claim loop before chasing every reward. The event connects a changing survival maze with quests in other Roblox experiences, so progress is easier to manage when you treat each system separately.
Join the correct experience
Use the official The Hollow page. Confirm that the title is The Hollow, the creator is the verified Roblox Presents group, and the URL contains Place ID 116463962153167. Copycat places and unrelated games can use similar names.
Roblox says the event is available to Roblox and Roblox Select accounts and is aimed at ages 9 and older in most regions; local account and regional restrictions can differ. The official hub opened October 22, 2026. Rewards remain collectible until November 2 at noon PST, so the event is time-limited even if a connected game remains available later.
Before playing, review volume, flashing-light, camera, and performance settings. The event celebrates horror experiences, and several connected games warn about loud sounds or flashing effects. A stable frame rate and readable brightness matter more than maximum visual detail during a chase.
Learn the four hub jobs
The hub combines several tasks. First is the survival maze: Roblox says a new maze and monster appears each day for nine days, with clues to find and threats to avoid. Second is the quest connection to participating experiences. Third is the Tickets/shop and badge-redemption flow. Fourth is the schedule of creator livestreams and the Halloween finale.
Do not assume all four update together. A new livestream entry does not prove a maze rotation. A badge appearing in the official API does not prove its current price or unlock step. A game appearing in the monster announcement does not guarantee it is in the current Visit Games grid.
Pick your first route
Play the maze
Choose this when you want the central survival activity. Start with the earliest available floor and learn landmarks before hunting every clue.
Open maze guideComplete a partner quest
Choose this when the Visit Games panel shows a clear objective. Launch through the hub so the destination receives the event context.
Open quest guideClaim an earned reward
Choose this when a Roblox badge already appears on your account. Return to the hub and use the current redemption interface.
Open rewards guidePlan limited time
Choose this when you need the confirmed finale and reward deadline or a listed creator stream.
Open scheduleFor a first session, complete just one route end to end. That gives you a baseline for how the current server displays progress. Starting five partner objectives at once makes it harder to diagnose a missing badge or delayed Ticket credit.
A safe maze routine
At the maze entrance, identify the elevator or return point and one strong landmark. Move in small loops that return to something known. Call out a clue, switch, locked object, or unusual room using its location relative to the landmark instead of “over here.”
When a threat appears, prioritize understanding the current behavior over assuming it matches the source experience. Watch what triggers pursuit, which routes remain open, and how the team regroups. The official announcement confirms the monster identity but not its full Hollow mechanic.
If you fail, change one thing on the next attempt: route order, spacing, visibility, or the point where you turn back. This produces a usable personal route without relying on a map that may describe another day.
A safe partner-quest routine
Open the Tickets/shop area and choose the current Visit Games view. Select a game tile, read the objective prompt, and use its teleport action. Joining the destination directly may skip the Hollow-specific prompt in some experiences.
Inside the partner game, find the panel carrying The Hollow branding. Separate its task from the game’s own Halloween event. Complete the displayed objective, wait for the Roblox badge notification, and verify the badge on your account. Then return to The Hollow and use Redeem Badges or the current equivalent.
If the destination has no visible Hollow task, do not finish an unrelated long event and assume it will count. Return to the current grid, record the game and time, and choose an objective you can verify.
Check every reward before spending
The event mixes free quest UGC, badge-linked items, Tickets, Roblox Plus perks, and paid Marketplace products. Open the item detail and check the current cost, required badge, subscription label, and claim button. A community screenshot can become outdated after a shop update.
Roblox Plus benefits include an exclusive profile frame, background, and item launcher, according to the official announcement. These are subscription benefits, not proof that every shop item requires Plus. Paid Marketplace items are also separate from quest rewards.
Fix common beginner problems
If a badge exists on your account but the hub does not register it, take a screenshot of both states, wait briefly for service propagation, and retry only safe steps such as reopening the redemption panel or rejoining once. Do not delete account data, install an extension, or pay another player for a “sync.” Use the badge troubleshooting guide for an evidence checklist.
If you cannot find a current maze or floor, check the elevator or floor selector rather than assuming a daily reset time. Roblox officially says there is a new maze each day but does not publish a universal reset minute.
If you find a “working code” list, verify it against Codes. No public code or code-entry screen was confirmed in the official sources checked October 25.
End-of-session checklist
- Confirm any earned badge appears on your Roblox account.
- Redeem or spend only after checking the live hub state.
- Record unresolved items by game, objective, badge, and time.
- Check Updates for official schedule or API changes.
- Leave enough time before November 2 at noon PST for delayed claims.
This routine keeps the event manageable: one verified place, one clear objective, one confirmed badge, and one checked claim at a time.
