Roblox Newsroom identifies the source experience for each of The Hollow’s nine guest monsters. These links answer where a character comes from. They do not prove that the guest has identical AI, attacks, counters, routes, or rewards in the event maze.
Official origin directory
The place IDs and pairings above follow Roblox’s own announcement links. A title can change after publication, so the numeric place is useful when checking that a similarly named copy is not being opened.
Origin is not behavior
Crossovers often adapt a recognizable character to a new ruleset. Treat the source as identity evidence and The Hollow as the only place to verify Hollow mechanics. Do not promise that a familiar item works, that a known safe spot exists, or that the original game’s chase trigger applies.
This separation is especially important for Mimic and Hiachi. “Mimic” is the guest from Animal Hospital, while Hiachi comes from an experience titled The Mimic. Names alone can cause those two records to be swapped.
The Inspector’s stream title is shortened to “Insp.” in the Events API, while Newsroom uses The Inspector. Mimic’s stream title says “Mimic Anomaly.” Those variations do not create additional monsters.
How to use an origin link safely
- Open the first-party Roblox URL rather than a copied portal.
- Check the current title and creator before joining.
- Remember that progress in the source experience is separate unless The Hollow explicitly gives a quest there.
- If the Hollow hub teleports you for a partner objective, follow the objective text shown in that session.
- Return through the provided flow and verify any badge before assuming a reward transferred.
The nine origins are not necessarily the same set as the rotating Visit Games quest tiles. The official roster pairs are stable announcement facts; the Visit Games list is a dynamic in-hub task surface. See Participating Games for that distinction.
What each record proves
An official Newsroom pairing proves that Roblox presented the monster as coming from the linked experience. The official The Hollow Virtual Events API can additionally prove a scheduled stream bearing the monster’s name. Neither record proves today’s maze, objective text, Ticket value, item drop, or attack behavior.
When a field is missing, leave it unknown. A fan label, thumbnail, or badge name may suggest a relationship, but it is not enough to state an unlock condition or strategy as fact.
Avoid copied experiences
Popular event names attract imitation games and misleading “free reward” pages. Use the verified The Hollow page for the hub and the exact source links above for origins. Do not install scripts, browser extensions, executors, or files to unlock a monster or reward.
Roblox quests can legitimately move a player between experiences. That handoff still stays inside Roblox and never requires a password, cookie, recovery code, or off-platform payment. If a link leaves Roblox for a credential form, stop.
Where to find current status
For the event roster and evidence labels, return to the Monsters Hub. For a cautious current-maze check, use the Monster Schedule. For creator-event times, use the Livestream Schedule.
Exact Hollow mechanics remain a live testing task. Confirm them in the current maze before using an origin game’s walkthrough as advice.
If an origin page becomes unavailable or its title changes, keep the official place ID with your report. That makes the identity check reproducible without guessing from a search result, thumbnail, or copied game name.
